Ranking Overview

Player rankings include:

• Solo/Duo Rank: Rank in Solo/Duo queue
• Flex Rank: Rank in Flex queue
• Rank Verification: Verified rank status
• Rank History: Historical rank changes
• Rank Requirements: Tournament rank requirements

Rank Information

Rank Structure

Rank Components:

• Tier: Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Emerald, Diamond, Master, Grandmaster, Challenger
• Division: IV, III, II, I (not applicable for Master+)
• League Points (LP): Points within division
• Queue: Solo/Duo or Flex queue

Rank Display

How Ranks Appear:

• Full Rank: "Diamond II 45LP"
• Tier Only: "Diamond"
• With Queue: "Diamond II (Solo/Duo)"
• Highest Rank: System uses highest rank (Solo or Flex)

Rank Verification

Verification Process

How Ranks Are Verified:

1. Link Riot Account: Link your Riot account
2. Fetch Rank: System fetches rank from Riot API
3. Store Rank: Rank stored in player profile
4. Verify Status: Account marked as verified
5. Update Periodically: Ranks update automatically

Verification Status

Verified Account:

• Status: Rank is verified
• Rank Data: Current rank available
• Tournament Ready: Can register for rank-restricted tournaments
• Automatic Updates: Rank updates automatically

Unverified Account:

• Status: Rank not verified
• Limited Access: May not meet tournament requirements
• Manual Verification: May need manual verification
• Tournament Restrictions: May have registration restrictions

Rank Updates

Automatic Updates

When Ranks Update:

• After Game Import: When games are imported
• Periodic Refresh: System refreshes ranks periodically
• Tournament Participation: Updates during tournaments
• Account Linking: When account is first linked

Manual Refresh

Refresh Your Rank:

1. Go to your profile
2. Find "Refresh Rank" or similar option
3. Click to refresh
4. System fetches latest rank from Riot
5. Rank information updates

Rank Requirements

Tournament Requirements

Tournaments may require:

• Minimum Rank: Must be at least certain rank
• Maximum Rank: Cannot exceed certain rank
• Rank Range: Must be within rank range
• Rank Balance: Team rank distribution rules

Rank Balance

Team Rank Balance

How It Works:

• Point System: Each rank has point value
• Team Total: Team total points calculated
• Point Cap: Teams must stay under point cap
• Validation: Teams validated during registration

Rank Distribution

Team Composition:

• Average Rank: Team average must be within range
• Individual Limits: Each player must be within range
• Exception Rules: Limited exceptions allowed
• Balance Rules: Specific distribution requirements

Rank History Includes:

• Past Ranks: Previous rank values
