Match Management Overview

Match management allows you to:

• View All Matches: See all matches in tournament
• Filter Matches: Filter by various criteria
• Create Matches: Create new matches
• Edit Matches: Update match information
• Monitor Matches: Track match progress
• Organize Matches: Organize by week, stage, status

Accessing Match Management

For Administrators/Staff

1. Navigate to tournament
2. Go to "Matches" tab
3. View all matches for tournament

Match List View

The match list displays:

• Teams: Home vs Away teams
• Date/Time: Scheduled date and time
• Week/Round: Week and round numbers
• Status: Match state (Pending, Scheduled, Live, Completed)
• Score: Match score (if completed)
• Actions: Edit, view, delete options

Viewing Matches

Match Display

Matches are shown with:

• Team Names: Home and away team names
• Team Logos: Team logos (if available)
• Schedule Info: Date, time, week, round
• Status Badge: Color-coded status indicator
• Score Display: Final score for completed matches

Match Details

Click on match to view:

• Full Information: Complete match details
• Games List: All games for the match
• Statistics: Match statistics (if available)
• History: Match history and updates

Filtering Matches

Filter Options

Filter matches by:

• Status: Pending, Scheduled, Live, Completed, Forfeit, Disputed
• Stage: Specific tournament stage
• Week: Specific week number
• Date Range: Matches within date range
• Team: Matches for specific team
• Broadcasted: Only broadcasted matches

Using Filters

Apply Filters:

1. Find filter controls
2. Select filter criteria
3. Filters apply immediately
4. Matches list updates

Clear Filters:

1. Click "Clear Filters" or reset
2. All filters removed
3. All matches shown again

Sorting Matches

Sort Options

Sort matches by:

• Date: Chronologically (newest/oldest first)
• Week: By week number
• Round: By round number
• Status: By match status
• Teams: Alphabetically by team name

Sort Direction

• Ascending: Oldest/lowest first
• Descending: Newest/highest first
• Toggle: Click column header to toggle

By Stage

Stage View:

• Matches grouped by stage

• View: Click match to view details
• Edit: Click edit to modify match
• Delete: Remove match (with caution)
• Expand: Expand to see games

Bulk Actions

Multiple Matches:

• Bulk Edit: Edit multiple matches
• Bulk Status: Change status of multiple
• Bulk Delete: Remove multiple matches
• Export: Export match data
