Match Scheduling
Schedule matches with specific dates, times, weeks, and rounds. Organize matches across the tournament timeline.
Scheduling Overview
Match scheduling includes:
- Date and Time: When the match is played
- Week: Which week of the stage/tournament
- Round: Round within the week
- Day: Day of week
- Timezone: Tournament timezone
Scheduling a Match
Step 1: Access Match
- Navigate to tournament → Matches tab
- Find the match to schedule
- Click "Edit" or the match row
Step 2: Set Date and Time
Date Selection:
- Click date field
- Select match date
- Date must be within tournament dates
- Consider stage start date
Time Selection:
- Click time field
- Enter or select time
- Use 24-hour format (HH:MM) or 12-hour with AM/PM
- Time uses tournament timezone
Step 3: Set Week and Round
Week:
- Week Number: Which week of stage/tournament
- Used for organization
- Helps group matches
Round:
- Round Number: Round within the week
- Multiple rounds per week possible
- Helps organize multiple matches per week
Step 4: Set Day
Day of Week:
- Day: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc.
- Optional but helpful for organization
- Used in match generation
- Helps with scheduling consistency
Step 5: Save Schedule
- Review schedule information
- Click "Save" or "Update Match"
- Match status may update to "Scheduled"
- Schedule is saved

- Uses Stage Settings: Applies stage default day and times
- Distributes Across Weeks: Spreads matches across stage weeks
- Calculates Dates: Calculates dates from tournament start
- Assigns Times: Uses stage match times

- Default Day of Play: Stage default day

- Local Time: Enter in tournament timezone
