Quick Start Guide for Hosts
As a host, you can create and manage tournaments for your organization. This guide will walk you through creating your first tournament.
Host Responsibilities
As a host, you can:
- Create and manage tournaments
- Manage teams and players
- Schedule and manage matches
- Customize your host's public pages
- Configure host settings and branding
Getting Started
Step 1: Access Your Host Dashboard
- Navigate to your host's admin page:
/{your-host-slug}/admin - You'll see your host dashboard with quick links
Step 2: Create Your First Tournament
- Click "Tournaments" in the sidebar or dashboard
- Click "Create New Tournament"
- Fill in the tournament information:
- Name: Tournament name (e.g., "Spring Split 2024")
- Slug: URL-friendly identifier (e.g., "spring-split-2024")
- Start Date: When the tournament begins
- End Date: When the tournament ends
- Region: Tournament region (e.g., "NA", "EUW")
- Timezone: Tournament timezone
- Click "Create Tournament"
Step 3: Create Tournament Stages
After creating a tournament, you'll need to create stages:
- Open your tournament
- Go to the "Stages" tab
- Click "Create Stage"
- Configure the stage:
- Name: Stage name (e.g., "Regular Season")
- Type: Round Robin, Bracket, or Swiss
- Best Of: 1, 3, 5, or 7
- Match Times: When matches are scheduled
- Click "Create Stage"

Step 4: Register Teams
Teams need to register for your tournament:
- Go to "Teams" in your host dashboard
- Teams can register through the public page or you can add them manually
- Once registered, teams appear in your tournament's team list

Step 5: Generate Matches
Once you have teams and stages:
- Open your tournament
- Go to the "Stages" tab
- Click "Generate Matches" for a stage
- Matches are automatically created based on the stage type
- Games are automatically created for each match

Managing Tournaments
- View All Tournaments: Host Dashboard → Tournaments
- Edit Tournament: Click on tournament → Edit
- Manage Stages: Tournament → Stages tab
- View Matches: Tournament → Matches tab
Managing Teams
- View All Teams: Host Dashboard → Teams
- Create Team: Click "Create Team"
- Manage Team Rosters: Team → Roster tab
Managing Matches
- View All Matches: Tournament → Matches tab
- Schedule Matches: Edit match → Set date/time
- Import Games: Match → Expand → Import Game
Customizing Your Host
You can customize your host's appearance:
- Go to Settings → Theme Customization
- Configure colors, layouts, and content visibility
- Customize public pages (Landing, Tournaments, Teams, Matches)
- Upload logos and set branding
