Customize the public tournaments listing page to showcase your tournaments effectively.

Tournaments Page Overview

The tournaments page displays:

  • Tournament List: All tournaments for host
  • Tournament Cards: Visual tournament cards
  • Filters: Filter by status, date, etc.
  • Search: Search tournaments

Page Features

Tournament Display

Display Options:

  • Tournament cards
  • Tournament list
  • Grid layout
  • Featured tournaments

Filtering

Filter Options:

  • By status (active, upcoming, completed)
  • By date range
  • By region
  • By type

Search

Search Features:

  • Search by name
  • Search by slug
  • Real-time search
  • Filtered results

Customizing Tournaments Page

Step 1: Access Settings

  1. Go to host settings
  2. Navigate to "Theme Customization"
  3. Find "Per-Page Settings"
  4. Expand "Tournaments Page" section

Step 2: Configure Settings

Available Settings:

  • Card Columns: Number of columns (1-4)
  • Show Team Count: Toggle team count display
  • Show Duration: Toggle duration display
  • Show Dates: Toggle date display
  • Max Items: Maximum items per section

Step 3: Save Changes

  1. Adjust settings
  2. Preview changes
  3. Click "Save"
  4. Changes apply to page

Card Layout

Card Columns

Column Options:

  • 1 Column: Single column, large cards
  • 2 Columns: Two columns, medium cards
  • 3 Columns: Three columns (default)
  • 4 Columns: Four columns, compact cards

When to Use:

  • 1 column for featured tournaments
  • 2-3 columns for standard display
  • 4 columns for compact view

Card Information

Card Displays:

  • Tournament name
  • Tournament logo
  • Status badge
  • Team count (if enabled)
  • Duration (if enabled)
  • Dates (if enabled)
  • Quick link

Content Display

Show Team Count

Toggle Team Count:

  • Enabled: Shows registered team count
  • Disabled: Hides team count

Team Count Display:

  • Number of registered teams
  • Maximum teams (if set)
  • Team count badge

Show Duration

Toggle Duration:

  • Enabled: Shows tournament duration
  • Disabled: Hides duration

Duration Display:

  • Start date to end date
  • Total duration
  • Time remaining (for active)

Show Dates

Toggle Dates:

  • Enabled: Shows start and end dates
  • Disabled: Hides dates

Date Display:

  • Start date
  • End date
  • Formatted dates

Section Organization

Tournament Sections

Section Types:

  • Active Tournaments: Currently running
  • Upcoming Tournaments: Scheduled to start
  • Completed Tournaments: Finished tournaments

Max Items Per Section

Limit Display:

  • Set maximum items per section
  • Prevents page from being too long
  • Shows most relevant tournaments
  • "View All" link for more

Best Practices

Display

  • Clear Organization: Organize by status
  • Prominent Active: Highlight active tournaments
  • Easy Navigation: Easy to navigate
  • Professional Look: Professional appearance

Content

  • Keep Updated: Keep tournament info current
  • Accurate Information: Ensure information accurate
